Earned My First $5 Through CloudResearch

Getting Started With CloudResearch

Nothing crazy — but today (2/23), I was able to withdraw my first $5 from completing surveys on CloudResearch, and it honestly felt like a small win.

I signed up on 2/19, got approved the very next day (2/20), and since then I’ve completed 17 surveys.

What the Surveys Were Like

Most of the surveys were:

  • Very simple
  • 2–3 minutes long
  • Paid around $0.50 on average

The longest one I did was about 15 minutes, but it was actually interesting, so it didn’t feel tedious.

So far:

  • 10 surveys have been approved
  • Some were approved within an hour
  • Most cleared within 24 hours

The rest are still pending and currently worth $6.87.

Beginner Mistakes I Made (So You Don’t)

I definitely made a few rookie mistakes early on.

Some surveys asked specifically for my Connect ID (user number), and I didn’t realize how important that was. I left it blank and continued anyway.

Others gave a completion code at the end, which you’re supposed to report back to CloudResearch — and I didn’t.

Those might not get approved, but I’m chalking that up to beginner error and learning as I go.

How I’m Doing This Without It Feeling Like Work

I’ve mostly kept CloudResearch open on my laptop:

  • While relaxing before bed
  • While doing chores around the house

I use an auto-refresh and keep one eye on it. This makes it feel less like “work” and more like something passive happening in the background.

That approach alone has made it much easier to stay consistent.

Is This Worth It?

I’m realistic — this isn’t going to replace a job.

But if I can earn an extra $40 a month doing this casually, I’ll be more than happy. 🤞

So far, I’m genuinely pleased with the results and glad I gave it a shot.
